We are living in a day where there is so much going on around us day in and day out. Simply turning on the morning news to hear the day's weather, we are bombarded with the overnight killings, unresolved murders, injustices, scandals and all the ills of society. We are also bombarded with same the same stories or more when picking up the daily paper or logging on to the computer. We mentally agonize over the details, desire relief and long to hear some good news. That is what you will find on this site - The Good News of Encouragement.
What is Encouragement? Encouragement is defined as support that inspires confidence; something that encourages; the act of encouraging, which is giving hope and promise. To Encourage is to inspire with courage, spirit, or confidence; to stimulate by assistance, etc., Another definition found in the Strong's Concordance means, "to urge forward and persuade'". Each definition is simple, yet profound. So is my purpose in creating this site.
As you read each writing, listen to teachings or musical arrangements, my prayer is that you will receive confidence, strength, courage, inspiration and hope to move forward in your personal life and journey with the Lord Jesus Christ
